I found this beautifully twisted tree on the Clova estate, in Aberdeenshire at harvest time.

Blue Bonsai

I loved the sprawling nature of this Scots Pine, which appears to be a giant bonsai. When the wind blows, it may steady itself by holding onto the nearby wall!
